A fast numerical method for the Neumann boundary-value problem of a space-fractional diffusion equation

Abstract

In this talk we present a fast numerical method for the Neumann boundary-value problem of a space-fractional diffusion equation, by not any compression, but rather by fully exploring the structure of the stiffness matrix. Numerical results will be presented to show the strong potential of the method.
