Ricci-curvature of graphs

Abstract

In this talk, we will study Lin-Lu-Yau’s version of Ricci curvature of graphs. Some classification results on Ricci-flat graphs will be given. We will also present the properties of positive Ricci graphs, including the relations with eigenvalues, graph products, and concentration equalities. As an application, we will show how Ricci-curvature can be used to prove Chernoff-type concentration equalities on some classical random discrete spaces.
