Fast and Accurate Evaluation of Gravimetric Quantities at Scattered Points in Space

A team from the University's Interdisciplinary Mathematics Institute (IMI) has developed an algorithm and software in FORTRAN and MATLAB for fast and accurate evaluation of gravimetric quantities represented in high degree (> 2000) spherical harmonics at arbitrary scattered points in the space above the surface of the Earth. The code is now publicly available for download from this website and use.
