  • Fourier analysis, approximation theory (by classical polynomials, and splines, ridge functions - in integral metrics, and almost everywhere; optimal quadrature formulas)
  • Oscillatory sums and integrals, analytic number theory - in applications to partial differential equations of Schroedinger type, chaotic features of solutions
  • Optimal control theory
